Comic Creators

Creating comics is a great way to infuse creativity and choice in to your lessons.  As students are sharing their learning, they are also working on their writing skills and possibility their higher-order thinking skills.

Here are some great comic creators for students to use:

Each creator is a little different, offering different scenes, characters, and ways to save/share the completed comic.  You could let students pick their own creator or have the entire class use the same one.

Ideas for the Classroom:
~ Have students retell part of a story from a character's point of view
~ Have students retell a part of history
~ Students could explain the steps in the process of something (how to solve a math problem, science experiment, etc.)
