Blabberize is a website that allows students/ teachers to create talking animations from a photo. To see it in action, I highly recommend you head out to the website and view the Blabberize that was created to explain Blabberize.
You can create your own or browse already created ones. If creating your own you can record your own voice using a microphone or telephone. If you want to save your Blabberize for future viewing, students will need to create a free account.
What Is This A Great Tool
It is a fun way for students to share information from class with others.
Ways To Use It In Your Classroom
- Vocabulary Words - have students create one for different vocabulary words. Post/share them on a class website for all students to use to review vocabulary
- Important People Presentations - Are students researching important people or historical figures? Have them share their information through a Blabberize of that person
- Book Characters - Have students create a Blabberize about a character in a book read in class
- Have students bring famous pieces of artwork to life. Have them interpret the artwork through Blabberize
- Create a Blabberize to introduce themselves to their classmates
