Create Videos with Spark Video

What is it?

Spark Video is a free online video creator that is very simple for teachers and students to use.  It is part of Adobe Spark which is an online design app where you can create graphics, videos and websites.  This tool can be used with a variety of devices - iPad, Chromebooks, desktop computers, and cell phones.  All you have to do is log-in using your school Google account.  There are a couple teachers in our district who have used this tech tool and have loved it!

How can you use this tool in your classroom?

• Create a video to share a topic/content with students who are working in a center or watching the video at home in a flipped classroom setting
• Have students use this to create a video on a topic covered in class
• Have students record themselves reflecting on their learning or self-evaluating a project
• Share the videos that have been created in Google Classroom for all students to provide feedback on and/or learn from
