I Have An Account, Now What?
Once you have created a Twitter account, you will need to find some people to follow. Twitter will give you suggestions. You can also search twitter for a topic and see who is talking about it. For example, if you search for the subject/grade level you teach, you will be given people how have that subject/grade level in their profile or tweets that have it mentioned. Read more about the people suggested, look at their tweets, and see if they would be someone that you would like to follow. If you would to, follow me - @mrsjenbishop
Many sites have also put together lists of great people to follow:

There are also hashtags that you can follow. A hashtag is a keyword/phrase that is used to describe a tweet. By searching by hashtag, you can find tweets from all about a certain topic. This can also be a great way to find new people to follow. Here is a database of some great hashtags to check out. (#omroteachersrock is a great hashtag to check out!)
