Recap provides a neat way to gather formative feedback or gather background knowledge from your students.
Once a teacher has created an account with his/her Google log-in, he/she can post questions for his/her students to answer about a lesson or topic that was discussed or will be discussed in class.
Students can access Recap through an iPad app or going to the website on a Chromebook. The first time they access recap, they will need to join the teacher's class through the use of a code (similar to Google Classroom). For each recap posted by the teacher, students have up to two minutes to answer the question through video and also rate themselves on how well they understood the material covered in class (Got It, Partially Got It, Didn't Get It).
When the teacher views the students response, he/she can comment and give feedback to the students response.
