Students in Spanish 1 used a variety of technology tools in their latest project. The students wrote a poem about themselves in Spanish. They used the the Chrome extension Simple Audio Recorder to record themselves reading their poem in Spanish.
Students then used the website www.qrstuff.com to create a QR code that when scanned would allow other students to listen to their recording. This QR code was printed, cut out, and glued to a poster that displayed the student's poem and pictures relating to their poem.
At the end of the project, students had a gallery walk. Posters were hung up around the classroom allowing students to walk around and use the Chrome Extension The QR Code Extension to scan the QR codes and listen to their classmate's recordings.
