Classroom Response Tool: Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere is a student response tool that enables the teacher to ask multiple-choice and short-answer questions.  A teacher can also create word clouds with words submitted by the students, have students click on a image, and create class competitions.


Polls can be created and shared using their website or embedded into Google Slides presentations.  Students respond to the question through by using an iPad or a Chromebook.

Ideas for the Classroom:

    As students enter your classroom, have then give you an idea of how their day is going and/or how they are feeling at that moment.

    Quickly check students understanding of a concept or what they remember from an earlier class period
