Smart Notebook has many fun formative activities built into the program. You don't even need a physical Smart Board to use this classroom response tool; you just need the Smart Notebook software. All teachers already have this software installed on their school laptops.
To find the Smart Response 2 activity, open up Smart Notebook, and click on the "Activities" button.
You will have to sign in. I recommend using your Google log-in. Once you are logged in, you will see all the different formative activities you can choose from. Look for "Smart Response 2."

Once you have created an activity, students go to a website on their Chromebooks or an iPad and enter in a class code and their first name. They can now respond to the questions that appear on the board.
