Thanksgiving Activities

It is that time of the year again! Here are some fun Thanksgiving tech activities that I have shared in the past and some new ones too!

Breakout Edu Activities
Here are a few digital Breakout Edu activities.  These activities act like escape rooms where students have to read the story and use clues from pictures to determine the lock codes to open up the locks.
**You do have to be signed in to your school account to view these activities

"What I Am Thankful for" Turkey with Google Slides
Eric Curtis from Control Alt Achieve has created a Build a "What I am Thankful For" Turkey with Google Slides activity where students add feathers to a turkey for things they are thankful for.  This turkey could then be printed off and sent home to be shared with family.

Mr. Turkey Head
Similar to Mr. Potato Head, students can create a turkey and then write a story about their turkey. They could even share their story with a the use of video using some of the tools given in a previous blog post.

I am thankful for...
Have students share through the use of video something they are thankful for. These videos could be posted in Google Classroom or Flipgrid for their classmates to see or shared with parents through a tool such as Seesaw.
